Land Rover is the official route and vehicle partner of the 2017 ABSA Cape Epic. The three-year sponsorship will see Land Rover’s highly capable vehicles being used for transport and logistics during the running of the toughest mountain bike race in the world.

Land Rovers will also be used to explore and develop routes on the tough off-road and mountainous sections of the Epic. Each day race participants will face a Land Rover Technical Terrain section of the course, as chosen by the route’s designers. Riders will be pushed to the limit of their abilities and require exceptional skill to conquer these segments.

Mountain biking is currently the most popular participative sport in South Africa, and many have taken it up as a form of exercise while seeing the most beautiful parts of the country. Land Rover vehicles are also perfectly suited to mountain biking, offering the capability, performance and durability to traverse the toughest terrain while discovering the most challenging trails.
